Feedinfo Adds Biotin 2% and L-Lysine HCL 98% (Chinese Origin) to Price Index

Feedinfo News Service is proud to announce the addition of Chinese-origin L-Lysine HCL 98% and Biotin 2% (Vitamin B7) to the Feedinfo feed additive price index. Both are now available at www.feedinfo.com.
“Biotin is produced by a small number of mainly Chinese manufacturers and is currently in an oversupply situation. And we are seeing Chinese lysine suppliers expanding their capacity,” says Martijn de Cocq, Lead Analyst at Feedinfo News Service. “Integrating Biotin 2% and L-Lysine HCL 98% (Chinese Origin) to our price index makes sense as China continues to be the largest supplier of feed grade vitamins and amino acids worldwide.”
The news comes on the heels of the recent inclusions of L-Valine and D-Calpan to the price index as well as historical price charts for the entire amino acid and vitamin ranges covered on a frequent basis.
